Glass Components, Inc. manufactures glass bottle machine parts for bottle-forming machinery, machined in Union City, IN and shipped worldwide. With roughly 2,600 part numbers on file, we supply the components behind the mold — everything the machinery needs except the parts that touch the glass itself — to procurement and maintenance teams who’ve been burned by cheaper, overseas alternatives that don’t hold up.
For nearly fifty years, Glass Components, Inc. has built the machined components that sit behind the mold on glass bottle-forming equipment — the parts that shape, guide, and move glass through the forming process, short of anything that makes direct contact with the glass itself (work reserved for union labor). Our shop maintains roughly 2,600 part numbers, covering the machinery running today’s glass container plants and, just as often, older American-built equipment that has since been relocated overseas.
That legacy capability is where we earn repeat customers. When a larger supplier stops stocking a part number because the machine it fits is decades old, we frequently still have the tooling, the drawings, and the shop experience to run it — sometimes for equipment we haven’t touched in years. Buyers come to us after a cheaper, overseas part fails faster than expected and costs more in downtime than it saved at checkout; they stay because every part that leaves our Union City, Indiana shop is made to the standard we’d want for our own equipment.
Search your part number above to check current stock and pricing, or send us your specs if you don’t see it listed — our online catalog is still growing toward the full 2,600.

Not every job that comes through our doors is glass-industry work. Alongside our glass bottle machine parts, Glass Components, Inc. runs a full custom machining and repair operation for manufacturers and businesses across Union City, Indiana and the surrounding region — local industrial work that doesn’t need a catalog number, just a shop that can figure it out.
That includes custom part fabrication built to your drawings or a sample piece, shaft repair for equipment that’s more practical to fix than replace, and precision grinding work for components that need to hold tight tolerances. Whether it’s a one-off repair to get a production line running again or an ongoing fabrication need, the same standard applies as it does to our glass-industry parts: nothing leaves the shop that we wouldn’t put back into our own equipment.
